RT hoods are available in two different Tychem materials and are held in place by the inflatable neck cuff (RT1 and RT2 models) or a sport material neck cuff (RT3 and RT4 models).

Tychem™ QC (quality coated) is a lightweight, supple material coated with polyethylene to provide splash protection against many acids, bases, and other liquid chemicals
Tychem SL (Saranex™ laminate) is coated with Saranex 23-P to provide protection from an even wider range of chemicals
RT1/RT3 = Tychem QC
RT2/RT4 = Tychem SL
Panoramic view minimizes claustrophobic feeling sometimes experienced in other respirator hoods
Sport or inflatable neck cuff design provides positive custom seal
Three-channel air delivery system promotes curvature of hood for better fit
Long inner and outer bibs for splash protection
Extra-large acetate lens
No suspension is required
Breathing tube connects using a sleeve on the back of the hood and a clamp
